New residents in the Middleboro/ Lakeville area can receive a personalized welcome packet from Victoria Bond. She will deliver it at your convenience and answer any questions you might have about your new hometown. The packet contains plenty of useful community information as well as savings, gift certificates and free gifts from local businesses.
Victoria moved to Middleboro from New York City in 2002 with her husband Adam. They are proud to call Middleboro home. Over the past five years they have become very active in the community; Adam in local politics and Victoria in several community organizations including Friends of the Library and Middleboro on the Move.
When Victoria isn’t busy with an organization, she’s busy chasing her two year old daughter. Before the baby was born, Victoria enjoyed reading (particularly poetry), theatre, and working in her art studio on her pottery. She looks forward to someday rediscovering these old loves.
Victoria is thrilled to be welcoming people into the community and knows first hand the value of this type of service. Victoria moved 8 times in her first 17 years. She had this to say about it: “I always remember how relieved my mother was if she received a visit from some kind of welcome service. It made her transition, and in turn, ours, so much easier.”
She is looking forward to meeting you and making your transition a little easier.
